Soma Ghosh is a cultural critic, performer and founding editor of cult polysexual magazine The Demented Goddess. The magazine explores gender, belonging and creativity across the arts, from rock and electronic music to AI, street art and ‘terrorist pornography’ by women. She also writes essays on sexuality and identity for The Quietus, Europe’s biggest independent music magazine.
Soma has written and presented her own satirical radio show. Forbidden Women, her theatre series on subversive female artists, debuted at The Photographer’s Gallery in 2019. Her drag comedy cabaret appearances, at festivals since 2016, spoof fixed notions of gender and race.
