Kathryn Jeffs is a BAFTA-nominated, Emmy award-winning director who was part of the core team on the ground-breaking documentaries Planet Earth and Frozen Planet. She is currently series producer on Frozen Planet 2.
Kathryn has 20 years of experience filming the most spectacular outer reaches of nature. For the original Frozen Planet, she spearheaded expeditions in the Antarctic to catch footage of wave-washing killer whales and deadly ice brinicles. Other producer credits under her belt include Autumnwatch, Wild China, and Attenborough at 90. Kathryn has been outspoken about the need to tackle the climate crisis right now and on a grand scale, urging radical policy overhauls at the state level.
