Annemarie Ward is the founder of the UK Charity FAVOR UK (Faces And Voices Of Recovery UK) where she is currently the Chief Executive Officer. Annemarie has been abstinent from mind altering substances for 22 years, having used alcohol and drugs as a coping mechanism to deal with childhood trauma. Having recovered from addiction, Annemarie has dedicated her life to helping other to receive the support they need to beat their addictions. She was the founding direct of the UK Recovery Federation, the alcohol and drug partnership co-ordinater for Ayrshire and the head of research & development for a small charity. Annemarie joins us to discuss the future of drug legislation in Getting High and Being Human.
