“If you go down the rabbit hole, you find that whenever you ask for purpose you end up asking what the purpose of life is. And to that, not even scientists have an answer.” Sabine Hossenfelder

Sabine Hossenfelder is theoretical physicist who specialises in quantum gravity. She is a Research Fellow at the Frankfurt Institute for Advanced Studies where she leads the Analog Systems for Gravity Duals group. Sabine is also the author of Lost in Math: How Beauty Leads Physics Astray, which explores the concept of elegance in fundamental physics and cosmology.
Sabine also manages to find time in her busy schedule to produce music videos and work as a freelance science writer, with her work published in Scientific American, New Scientist and Quanta Magazine. You can also find her ideas in her popular blog ‘Backreaction’.
