Good Weather for an Airstrike is an ambient music project that was initially conceived at the beginning of 2009 by Winchester, UK-based Tom Honey. GWFAA’s music has been streamed over 75 million times across the major streaming platforms, as well as being featured regularly on BBC Introducing, KEXP and Channel 4.
They are a featured artist on the sleep, meditation and relaxation app ‘Calm’ (Apple’s App of the year + Google Play Editors Choice) and has been featured on New York Magazine and Nowness. Their work draws on all of his musical influences and presents itself as a rich tapestry of lulling drone that hints at a diluted form of post-rock.
Now as a four-piece for live performances, they have played sold out shows alongside Flyte, Plaid & Nordic Giants across the UK.
