Sophie Fiennes is a filmmaker working in non-fiction. Fiennes' collaborations with philosopher and psychoanalyst Slavoj Žižek, (The Pervert's Guide to Cinema and The Pervert’s Guide to Ideology), examine the relationship between fiction and reality. Fiennes feature documentary films, which include Grace Jones - Bloodlight and Bami, ( 2017) and Over Your Cities Grass Will Grow, (2010), also reveal how fantasy is always at work in our lived reality.
