Shreepali Patel is director of StoryLab a multi award winning Cambridge based research institute (aru) that experiments and interrogates narrative, form and function to create powerful and purposeful films. As a filmmaker her work crosses genres, sectors and platforms (including XR). With over 40 broadcast documentaries, drama, BBC Radio 4 documentaries and art exhibitions to her name (including the BAFTA award winning Dawn), she formed Eyeline Films with producer/director Geoffrey Smith. The company’s first feature documentary was the Emmy award winning The English Surgeon, with an original soundtrack by Nick Cave. Shreepali is also now part of a radical Higher Education project, The New School of the Anthropocene.
