Kay Peggs is Professor of Sociology at Kingston University, who focuses on the relationship between animals and society. A Fellow of the Oxford Centre for Animal Ethics, Kay has argued for nonhuman animals being accepted into the scope of sociological studies. Her books include Animals and Sociology and the forth coming Experiments, Animal Bodies and Human Values. A member of the Research Advisory Committee for the Vegan Society, Kay is committed to veganism and ethical living.
