Richard is former Chief Strategy Officer of RBS (now NatWest Group) and was part of the executive team steering the bank after the financial crisis in the late 2000s. Over a 30+ year career, Richard has led major transformations at European banks; his expertise spans regulatory reforms and the implementation of new structures to support the UK economy in the aftermath of the global financial crisis, as well as complex initiatives focused on COVID recovery. Richard is now a Parter at Deloitte providing strategic advice to CEOs of systemically important banks.
