Carol Cleland is Director of the Center for the Study of Origins and Professor of Philosophy at the University of Colorado Boulder. Her extensive work on the question of What is Life?
She is a SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence) Institute Affiliate, and member of CU Boulder’s Center for Astrobiology. She was involved as Co-I and Key Collaborator on several science teams of the now disbanded NASA Astrobiology Institute (NAI).
