Ann Widdecombe is a Former Tory MP for Maidstone and The Weald, and a former Brexit Party MEP for South West England. As an MP, Widdecombe opposed the legality of abortion, opposed gay marriage, and opposed an equal age of consent for same-sex relationships. She supported reintroduction of the death penalty for murder, and opposed all forms of assisted dying. She is a commited Christian.

Widdecombe is also a promenant TV personality, having appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, Celebrity Big Brother, Have I Got News For You, a Louis Theroux documentary and hosted many different TV programmes. She has been Reform UK's Immigration and Justice spokesperson since 2023.
