Edward Harcourt is a philosopher at the University of Oxford, where he researches ethics, the philosophy of mind, and Wittgenstein. He has been a Mind Association Research Fellow, Visiting Research Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, and Wittgenstein Professor at the University of Innsbruck.
Harcourt has written dozens of articles on psychoanalysis and is the author of two edited collections, Morality, Reflection, and Ideology and Attachment and Character: Attachment Theory, Ethics and the Developmental Psychology of Vice and Virtue.re.
