Journeys Into The Unknown

Natalya Din-Kariuki, Issam Kourbaj, Subha Mukherji, Rowan Williams

Most governments, regardless of where they fall on the political spectrum, are increasingly turning to anti-immigration policies. Critics of these policies warn the age of civic nationalism is over, and ethnic nationalism is once again on the rise. But how might the closing of borders negatively affect the world and the countries we live in? Ideas, languages and people have mixed since the dawn of time. Join former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams, Natalya Din-Kariuki, Issam Kourbaj and Subha Mukherji as they discuss the motivations of political leaders, and the simultaneous human need to have a home, but also to journey into the unknown.

"Rowan Williams is an excellent critic." — The Guardian
