Bourgeois & Maurice
Cult cabaret royalty Bourgeois & Maurice (real names Liv Morris and George Heyworth) have spent almost two decades at the top of London's neo-cabaret scene. Since forming in 2007, the duo have staged multiple full-length theatre shows, released four studio albums, and won Best Music-Based Act at the London Cabaret Awards. Their 2016 Fringe show ranked among the top 20 best-reviewed comedy shows at Edinburgh that year, and they've twice taken Time Out's Alternative Eurovision title. Bourgeois & Maurice's work explores sex, politics, hedonism and the general absurdity of being alive, all wrapped in sequins and a very good key change.
