Bjørn Ekeberg

Philosopher of Science Challenging Our Understanding of Reality
Bjørn Ekeberg

"Cosmology looks rather like a historical accident of ideas... overdetermined by the implications of its past inventions.”

Bjørn Ekeberg is a Norwegian philosopher of science, author, entrepreneur, and cultural creator whose work challenges orthodox thinking in cosmology, scientific knowledge, and human understanding. He holds a Ph.D. in philosophy of science from the University of Victoria (Canada) and has combined rigorous academic inquiry with creative and practical ventures.

Ekeberg’s philosophical writing spans cosmology, metaphysics, and the limits of scientific knowledge, exemplified by his book Metaphysical Experiments: Physics and the Invention of the Universe, which critiques assumptions in modern physics and invites fresh perspectives on how we understand the universe.

"Makes a radical case that will interest philosophers of science and contemplative scientists alike.” — Brian Rotman
