Peter Woit is a mathematical physicist at Columbia University. He is an outspoken critic of string theory, which for decades has been the leading candidate for a unified theory of physics. He is known for saying the theory is so flawed that it is “not even wrong.”  Woit is author of the popular science blog titled 'Not Even Wrong' which has been featured in Discover, Seed, and New Scientist.' Woit is also the author of 'Quantum Theory, Groups and Representations: An Introduction'  and 'Not Even Wrong: The Failure of String Theory and the Search for Unity in Physical Law for Unity in Physical Law.'
