Former chancellor of the U.K. and No. 2 in British Politics, Nadhim Zahawi is a U.K. Conservative Politician who has held several ministerial positions under Theresa May, Boris Johnson, Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak. Born in Baghdad, Nadhim rose to prominece in business and in politics as co-founder of the leading market research firm YouGov.

He was first appointed as the Under-Secretary of State for Families and Children under Theresa May, before becoming Under-Secretary for Business and Industry and later assuming responsibility for the UK's lauded vaccine rollout for COVID-19. He may go down in history as the shortest Chancellor of the Exchequer after resigning after 48 hours. He was later appointed head of the Conservative party under Rishi Sunak before his resignation last year.
