Kathleen Stock OBE is a British philosopher and writer. She was a professor of philosophy at the University of Sussex until 2021. She has published academic work on aesthetics, fiction, imagination, sexual objectification, and sexual orientation.
She has published several academic articles and her most recent book is 'Material Girls' which argues against the idea of gender as a social construct. She has made multiple media appearances after her resignation from Sussex University including on LBC, Good Morning Britain and BBC's Hardtalk.
