Dale Turner is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and Centre for Indigenous Studies at the University of Toronto. His research interests lie in the intersection of Indigenous intellectual culture, contemporary political thought, and the philosophy of Ludwig Wittgenstein.

 He is the author of This is not a Peace Pipe. He publishes on Aboriginal rights in Canada and contemporary intellectual culture. He is a citizen of the Temagami First Nation in northern Ontario. He is working on his first hotly-anticipated novel, Vision, which draws from postcolonial and indigenous thought.
