Sophie Scott-Brown is an inspiring intellectual historian with research interests in modern European political thought, Anarchism and the history of education. A director at the Europaeum Institute at the University of Oxford. Sophie is a  fellow of the Higher Education Academy and of the Royal History Society. Sophie Lectures on intellectual history at the University of Oxford.

She is the author of The Histories of Raphael Samuel: A Portrait of a People’s Historian (2017) and Colin Ward and the Art of Everyday Anarchy (2022).
