Becky Parker is Visiting Professor of Physics at Queen Mary, University of London and a physics teacher based in Kent. Founder of the Institute for Research in Schools, Parker supports school students in doing vanguard research at CERN and in the International Space Station.
Professor Parker is a pioneering educator who is dedicated to empowering school students with the most cutting-edge knowledge and research experience in contemporary physics. Her unconventional and innovative teaching philosophy has earned her an MBE, an Honorary Fellowship of the Institute of Physics, and the Kavli Education Medal from the Royal Society.
