Born and bred in Amsterdam, Poppea’s music is direct honest and not afraid to discuss the uncomfortable: womanhood, queerness, grief, and trauma. Her music moves between progressive jazz, neo-soul, and experimental funk. Poppea has performed at Zuiderhavendijk Festival and Blue Note Tallinn in Amsterdam.
