Emerging from Bristol, Akane are an indie-dance-electronic trio known for euphoric grooves and electrifying live energy. Formed in 2022, the band fuse influences from Caribou, Bonobo, and Paris Monster into an immersive, rhythm-led sound built for the dancefloor. After a standout set at HowTheLightGetsIn Hay 2025, Akane stepped up to a larger London stage later that year, continuing their rapid rise. With a debut EP on the way and momentum building fast, we’re thrilled to welcome them back for Hay 2026.
