The Big Bang Hides A Mirror Universe

Neil Turok
What if the Big Bang isn't a singularity at the beginning of time, but a mirror in which another universe is reflected? Join Higgs Chair of Theoretical Physics, Neil Turok, as he argues our universe has a twin running backwards in time on the other side of the Big Bang, one in which antiparticles outnumber particles. This single idea, he contends, resolves dark matter and dark energy, explains why matter exists at all, and does away with the problem of inflation entirely.
