“Conversion and zealotry, just like revelation and apostasy, are flip sides of the same coin, the currency of a political culture having more in common with religion than rational discourse.”

Norman Finkelstein is one of the most high-profile political scientists writing today. The son of Holocaust survivors, he earned his doctorate in politics from Princeton and spent decades teaching political theory and the Israel-Palestine conflict before his tenure bid at DePaul University was denied in 2007, following a widely publicisedfeud with Harvard's Alan Dershowitz.

One of America's most controversial political commentators, Finkelstein is the author of more than a dozen books, translated into over fifty foreign editions, including Image and Reality of the Israel–Palestine Conflict, Beyond Chutzpah: On the Misuse of Anti-Semitism and the Abuse of History, and Gaza: An Inquest into Its Martyrdom. His most recent book, Gaza's Gravediggers: An Inquiry into Corruption in High Places, turns his forensic scrutiny on the international institutions and intellectuals he accuses of enabling the war in Gaza.

"A brave and brilliant truth-teller.” — John Mearsheimer
