Audrey Borowski

Audrey Borowski is a researcher and author, specialising in the philosophy of artificial intelligence. She has held numerous fellowships, most notably at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science in Berlin. She is currently a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow and Isaac Newton Trust Fellow at the University of Cambridge.
A regular contributor to the Times Literary Supplement and Aeon, she is the author of Leibniz in His World: The Making of a Savant, which provides a groundbreaking reassessment of Leibniz, painting a nuanced portrait of him as an aspiring scientist and courtier, challenging the image of Leibniz as an isolated genius. Her current research and upcoming book project explores the topics of data, algorithmic systems and ideology.
