Is the concept of engery a mystical idea?
Despite taking it as given that energy is fundamental in our description of reality, physicists lack a knowledge of what energy actually is. Over debates and talks where physics clashed, we explored whether we should abandon the idea that energy describes the physical character of reality? Or is this all a mistake, and we should double down on the idea that energy is built into the fabric of the universe?
