Laurie Penny is an acclaimed journalist and writer whose written for the Guardian, the New York Times, and Salon. Penny is the author of several  books including Bitch Doctrine, Unspeakable Things and Everything Belongs to the Future.

Penny has made numerous media appearances on the BBC, Channel 4 and ITV, as well as speaking at the Oxford Union and the Festival of Dangerous Ideas. Penny has also written for streaming TV, contributing to episodes of the Netflix show The Haunting of Bly Manor and HBO's The Nevers, and acted as a story editor on Carnival Row.
