Inna Sovsun is a fearless Ukranian MP, deputy leader of the Holos party, and professor at Kyiv School of Economics. From 2014 to 2016 she served as Ukraine's deputy Minister of Education and Science, and is currently an MP and member of the Committee on Energy, Housing and Utilities Services of the Verkhovna Rada. Beyond this she is an outspoken advocate for green energy, improving education and LGBT+ rights, and proposing a bill for Ukraine to legally recognise same-sex partnerships earlier this year.
