Timothy Williamson is the Wykeham Professor of Logic at the University of Oxford. His most eminent works include The Philosophy of Philosophy and Knowledge and its Limits. He has been a major contributor to the philosophical logic, philosophy of language, epistemology and metaphysics. His work in these areas is provocative and often game-changing.
Timothy is a Fellow of the British Society and has been the President of the Aristotelian Society. He is one of the most celebrated British philosophers of the contemporary era.
