Sarah Garfinkel is a British neuroscientist and Professor at the UCL Institute of Cognitive Science, where she leads the group on Clinical and Affective Neuroscience. Her research concentrates on the links between interoception, emotion and memory. She has written several articles and contributed to numerous academic journals.
More recently, she has delivered a Ted Talk entitled the Science in our Hearts and Minds and has posted several videos for the Dissenter. She is the esteemed recipient of the British Association for Cognitive Neuroscience Career Award 2021.
