“Psychedelic phenomenology is fuel for philosophy”
Peter Sjöstedt-Hughes is psychedelic philosopher and philosopher of mind who specializes in the thought of Whitehead, Nietzsche, and Spinoza, and in fields pertaining to panpsychism and altered states of mind. Peter is the author of Noumenautics, and his latest book Modes of Sentience, he is furthermore a TEDx Talker on ‘psychedelics and consciousness’.
He helped to edit an introductory volume on Philosophy and Psychedelics, that will be published with Bloomsbury, a book which he will draw upon to teach this subject to philosophy students at the University of Exeter next academic year.
