Lindsey German is a British left-wing political activist and author. A founding member and convenor of the British anti-war organisation Stop the War Coalition, she was formerly a member of the Socialist Workers Party, sitting on its central committee and editor of its magazine, Socialist Review. Her most recent book, ‘How a Century of War Changed the Lives of Women’ provides a detailed account of the history of women's involvement in anti-war activism and the impact of war on women's position in society. She has contributed regularly to Sky News, BBC News, LBC, and The Guardian
