Gerard Milburn is a theoretical quantum physicist notable for his work on quantum feedback control, quantum measurements, quantum information, open quantum systems, and Linear optical quantum computing. He is emeritus Professor at the University of Queensland. He is also a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science, a Fellow of The Royal Society of London and The American Physical Society.
