“Underground music and culture cannot exist unless it has somewhere to exist.”

Frank Turner is an English punk and folk singer-songwriter. Turner has over half a million monthly listeners on Spotify and has released nine solo albums, four rarities compilation albums, one retrospective "best of" album, one split album and five EPs. Turner's ninth and most recent studio album, FTHC was released on 11th February 2022 and reached number 1 in the UK albums chart in the week following its release.

Turner describes himself as a "classical liberal". Turner views "the non-Marxist British left is a fantastic tradition: it's all about non-conformism and voluntarism. The advances of the unions are great advances in human society." Turner became a patron of the assisted dying campaign group Dignity in Dying. In 2016, he was appointed a patron of Humanists UK, which campaigns on a number of ethical and secularist issues, including assisted dying.

“Turner has a huge grassroots support precisely because of his directness and honesty.” – NME
