Tommy J. Curry is an American scholar, author and professor of philosophy, holding a Personal Chair in Africana philosophy and Black Male studies at the University of Edinburgh.
In 2018, he won an American Book Award for the The Man-Not: Race, Class, Genre, and the Dilemmas of Black Manhood. He has been recognised by Diverse as among the Top 15 Emerging Scholars in the United States in 2018, and his work has earned him a Scoiety for the Advancement of American Philosophy Alaine Locke Award.
