Jeremy Gilbert is a professor of Cultural and Political Theory at the University of East London. He is the author of Hegemony Now which demystifies the concept and explores how people coming together can create their own hegemonic power to change the world. He is a regular writer in the British Press and is the current editor of the journal New Formations.
Alongside his academic work, he is a co-host of the ACFM podcast as well as Love is the Message & Culture, Power, Politics. Beyond theorising, Jeremy has been involved in party politics, public lecturing, and cultural music projects.
