Hay Castle Craft Fair 23rd-25th May

Our 3-day Craft Fair is back!
Ceramics, textiles, jewellery, print, wood, glass and work in unexpected materials.
Makers are selected for the quality, originality and care in their work, and for how it sits within the castle.
A day for wandering, looking closely, touching fabrics and materials, and meeting the people behind the work.
Current Exhibitions:
Gallery - BorderLands
Meadow Arts presents BorderLands: From the Welsh Borders to Antarctica: twenty-two contemporary artists explore territory, identity and belonging. At a time of renewed geopolitical tensions and increasing polarization, when issues around identity, belonging and territory are amplified, borders are often the focus for socio- political and cultural disunity.
Open daily 10am to 5pm – Admission with £7.50 entry ticket
Café Gallery – Sarah Brooker – Wool to Wall
Sarah Brooker is a fine artist whose discovery of feltmaking transformed her practice. Brooker’s work often explores variation within collections of objects, combining colour, texture, and drawing.
Open daily 10am to 5pm – Free entry to Café
Printmaker in Focus Gallery – Hay Letterpress Guild
The Hay Letterpress Guild brings together a community of printers dedicated to the craft of traditional letterpress. Working with type, woodblocks, and hand operated presses, the Guild explores both classic and contemporary approaches to print, celebrating the tactile beauty and precision of this historic artform.
Open daily 10am to 5pm – Admission with £7.50 entry ticket
