Sophie Allen is Lecturer in Philosophy at Keele University, where her research focuses are principally metaphysics, philosophy of science, and philosophical methodology.
Formerly a staff member of the Royal Institute of Philosophy, Allen gained tenure at Oxford University in 2002 before moving to Keele in 2015. Her first book, A Critical Introduction to Properties, was published in 2016.
