"I don't remember ever not being a feminist."

Emma Barnett is a broadcaster and journalist, and the youngest ever presenter of BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour. Best known for her work on BBC Radio 5 Live, she has been involved in a wide range of projects, and became a regular presenter of Newsnight in March of this year.
Though she originally aspired to become an actor, she fell in love with journalism after work experience with Woman's Hour's Jenni Murray. Boasting degrees in history, politics, and journalism, Barnett honed her craft at Media Week and The Daily Telegraph, becoming women's editor of the latter paper in 2012. She challenged Jeremy Corbyn on Labour's childcare proposals in a highly publicised debate during the 2017 general election.
