Ammar Kalia is a journalist focusing on the arts, and currently the resident global music critic for the Guardian. Kalia has written for a diverse range of publications including Crack, Dazed, The Times Literary Supplement, The Quietus, and Clash.
The recipient of the Guardian's Scott Trust Bursary Award in 2017, Kalia has also produced a number of Guardian podcasts and worked on projects for the likes of Al Jazeera and the BBC.
