Our London debut proved to be a spectacular weekend and we’d like to say a huge thankyou to everyone that joined us and to all those who helped make it a success.
Some of the highlights included a sensational wine tasting event in which Barry C Smith recommended you try changing the music if you don’t like the taste of the wine, Elif Sarican linking the history and roots of war to the roots of patriarchy, and Stanley Fish sticking two fingers up to the internet. We were also joined by Channel 4, who interviewed Steven Pinker about his latest book, and why the world is better than it’s ever been. This year, the festival debates were busier than ever and we applaud each of you that made it to our Saturday morning events. We had a fantastic closing set by Afriquoi, who were able to get the whole crowd singing and dancing, and rather reluctant to go home.
For some joy-filled nostalgia to beat those festival blues take a look at our festival gallery. Until next time!
