“Children are not afraid to pose basic questions that may embarrass us, as adults, to ask.” ~ Roger Penrose
Roger Penrose is a physicist, mathematician, and philosopher of science. For many years, Penrose collaborated closely with Stephen Hawking on general relativity, spacetime and black holes. Together they developed many radical new theories which have come to be accepted, such as the notion that an expanding universe like our own must have begun with a singularity. The Penrose Institute was set up in his name to investigate the brain, creativity, and the interaction between quantum mechanics and general relativity.
"Although I’m regarded as a radical…I’m definitely a conservative compared to Roger” ~ Stephen Hawking
