Anatole Kaletsky is an economist and writer. Born in the Soviet Union, Kaletsky learnt his trade at Cambridge and Harvard and has since held such positions as contributor to The Economist, editor at The Times, and columnist for Reuters. He is a consultant for private firms and international organisations via his company GaveKal.
Kaletsky is known for his critique of capitalism and his coinage of the phrase “Capitalism 4.0” to describe the economic system’s reliance on crisis as a means to reinvigorate itself.
