Galen Strawson is a British philosopher and literary critic specialising in the philosophy of mind and metaphysics. He is famous for his refutation of free will. To compliment this, he has been a consultant editor for the Times Literary Supplement as well as a regular contributer to the Sunday Times, The Independant and the Guardian.

His most recent book is 'Things That Bother Me: Death, Freedom, The Self etc.' (2018) that explores themes such as the self and concioussness, naturalism and pan-psycism'.
