"Today’s feminism is opposed to criticism and nuance, refusing to allow women to form their own opinions or challenge preconceived ideas"

Ella Whelan is a political commentator and freelance journalist. After graduating in 2014, Ella joined online politics magazine Spiked, and quickly rose to assistant editor. She is a producer of the annual Battle of Ideas Festival in central London and writes for the Sunday Times,  the Sun and the Economist. Ella regularly appears in the media; her criticism of no-platforming and 21st century feminism has caused her to clash with mainstream journalists on the BBC, Sky, and Channel 4. Her first book is What Women Want: Fun, Freedom and an End to Feminism.
