Donald Hoffman is an American cognitive psycholgist, popular science author and famous non-realist. His work focusses on consciousness, visual perception and evolutionary psychology using mathematical models and psychophysical experiments.

He has written several books: his most recent being 'The Case Against Reality; How Evolution hid the Truth From Our Eyes'. He has made numerous media appearances including on TED, the Lex Fridman podcast and Closer to Truth.
