Daljit Nagra is a poet and radio presenter. He is a Rrofessor of Creative Writing at Brunel University London and, since 2020, he has been Chair of the Royal Society of Literature, and Lead Advisor to Poetry By Heart.

He is best known for his 2007 collection, Look We Have Coming to Dover!, which won the Forward Poetry Prize for best first collection and was nominated for many others. Daljit Nagra has also been the Lead Poetry Tutor at the Faber Academy and was the first poet in residence for BBC Radio 4. His most recent work is Indiom scrutinises the legacies of Empire and issues of poewer and status.
